The ABA Bank Marketing Conference is the banking industry's flagship conference that provides a wealth of information for marketing professionals, as well as a great opportunity for the industry to meet and connect to share the best thinking in financial services marketing.
This year, the conference took place in New Orleans, LA and Carousel30 had the privilege to share our work with our United Bank at the conference. Our presentation, entitled “Using Website Redesign to Reach New Markets,” outlined how our website redesign needed to help United Bank reach new audiences in its expanding footprint in the Mid-Atlantic.
The presentation began by introducing the challenge United Bank faced of reaching a new demographic in an increasingly digital world - a challenge that many other bank marketers could relate to. We walked through how it was important to stay true to United Bank’s history and branding, while updating their look across digital to reach this desired new audience.
We also shared the client’s perspective, including all of the things that a bank client should keep in mind before (or while) undergoing a site redesign. Lauren Hendricks, Head of Marketing at United Bank answered a wide variety of questions from the audience from how the content was created, to how the content management system was selected.
We closed with the sharing results the client has been experiencing on their end. For full details on this project, take a look at our case study.
