Tweeting the Race

Email press@carousel30.com for a high resolution version.

The 2012 Presidential Election has been tweeting up a storm, and we've been seeing more social media use by politicians and their supporters than ever. During both the Republican and Democratic national conventions we saw new records for total tweets and tweets-per-minute (TPM). More than 4 million tweets were sent during #GOP2012, and more than 9.5 million during #DNC2012.

The highlights were, of course, the speeches, and we've pulled together the TPM during the speeches from President Barack Obama, candidate Mitt Romney, Clint Eastwood, and more so you can see what got the Twitter-sphere buzzing during the 2012 conventions.
